Tamiya 1/72 X-35

This is the review of the X-35 in 1/72 from Tamiya

The X-35 was Boeing attempt on the Joint Fight Program contest. Both competitors were given a same budget to build 2 working prototypes. This one was inovative on its lift fan approach. It was the winner of the contest, even if the production version is still plagued with development problems...

The model is perfect, no problems in building nor fitting. Cockpit is very nice, as well as the lift fan!

Landing gear wells are ok, enough details for the scale.

It does allow to build in normal or vertical flight version.

In the end, its a peacefull build, and even if it doesnt have that much engravings when compared with the Fujimi F-35, It does look pleasing to the eye. Its a good one to have on the shelf. A good and peacefull build.
