Airfix 1/72 YF-22

This is the review of the YF-22 in 1/72 from Airfix.

 The YF-22 was the prototype of the F22, the technology demonstrator. It was the winner of the ATF competition, and managed to fullfill all the requirements.

 About the model, its an old tradicional Airfix model... not so much details, but the shape is accurate.

 Cockpit glass got a little foggy, but that was the clear coat fault... The inner cracks were strange, as they appeard without any warning overnight...

The air inlets dont have any details and could use some work.

Landing gear wells could use some extra detail too... and it has a mix of raised and recessed panel lines.

 But everything fits and its a nice version of the YF-22, which goes along nicelly with the production version. Its a cheap and nice model.
