Minicraft 1/144 Boeing 737-400 Alaska

So, this is one of the "classic" 737...
The 737-400 is one of the "classic"series, revised in the early eighties... It got smaller and bigger! But it had a new problem... The new high bipass turbofans needed a bigger diameter, but due to the shorter landing gear, because of the early design with the smaller diameter low bipass turbofan (737-200), it didn't had enough ground clearence... So it required some changes to be able to fit the new bigger but more powerfull and economic engines... It was and still is used.

The kit, again, its the regular Minicraft. Front clear canopy, side windows make with decals. The landing gear has enough details

Not in need of bigger changes, just build out of the box. We can see the ovaloid chape of the air intakes, to give enough ground clearence...
Moreoever, the engines had to be placed almost in front of the wing, instead of below
Overall, its a nice recessed lines model kit. With little effort, it becomes a nice and classic 737-400. No need for big operations, just some care in joining both halfs of everything, and its good to go.
