Minicraft 1/144 Boeing 757-200 American Airlines

I've bought 3 of these... one for the 200, one for the 300, and another to modify to a 200F.
The 757 was designed at the same time as the 767. They share the same rating. The main difference is on the fuselage... A narrow fuselage has less aerodynamic drag, even if it carry less volume. But for rough airstrips, on strange high locations, it is the only thing that may safelly work. For that reason, they've done the 757. It is bigger than its smaller cousing 737, and it is a completelly different airplane. They are still used for cargo transport.

About the kit, Minicraft standart all over again... Landing gear with adequate details.

Nicelly recessed panel lines, with the typical intertwined wing fits. Although these do fit well.
It can be a peacefull build, the fuselage halfs fit well, didnt noticed any warped parts... But there is a "severe" problem. Naturally, the engines point a to upwards... That needs to be corrected.
But besides that, which can be corrected with a little bending, nothing bad to talk about it... It is quite nice to do.

With some work, can become really pretty.
Decals are well done, they do fit nicelly, and have a good quality.
So, except for the engine details, nothing much to add up... Just get a few to do several versions... I've already modified it to do the 300 version, so, it can be nice and afordable for the first modification job. A good surprise.
