Airfix BAC 111 Caledonian

This is a faily small airplane... But its a nice one!
At one point I was simply looking for airplanes of which there were models about... Airfix was one of the few brands that would risk into doing some "strange" ones, so I found it. The BAC 111 was a short rout nice little airplane. Not much to say about it, it didn't had much accidents (except one history about one window that snapped, and the pilot got sucked out in the middle of the flight, being held by its foot by the flight attendant, during the rest of the time until the emergency landing... Strangly, the pilot survived with minor injuries... Full history in here)

The kit is the Airfix standart. Landing gear was not bad, for its size
It is actually a neat little model! Same age as of the Caravelle and the Comet. The building is with no big problem. It almost builds itself. Windows do fit nicelly
Engines are also well detailed
So, it is a weekend build. But do fill in that hole in the belly... I'm asking myself why haven't I filled it in...
